The "Poker Face" pop star, who's known for her outrageous costumes and elaborate hair and makeup, is sporting a more natural look in the video, sans much makeup and with long brown hair. Although the clip is brief, there's something strangely macabre about it and it inexplicably gives us the willies.
The singer, born Stefani Germanotta, recently announced that her new album/multimedia project is due to be released November 11, with a single preceding it on August 19. Gaga revealed that she's working with several artistic collaborators on the album, and a social media component created by her technology team at Haus of Gaga will explore Gaga's "existence as a cultural interface" and allow users to "share in the adrenaline of fame" by building their own projects and interacting with one another.
In the meantime, Gaga has been refraining from interacting with her 39 million Twitter followers, leaving her account dark except for the message: "This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates." We'd bet our poker wad that she's got something explosive planned around the release of ARTPOP for her reemergence into the Twittersphere.
