Houston

Chick-fil-A® restaurants across the Houston area will host a "Date Night" for more than 4,000 families throughout the week of Oct. 7. The prince and princess-themed events are an opportunity for families to participate in a special evening of royal-themed activities, spend time together, enjoy a meal, and engage in conversation.

"With extracurricular activities, homework, and the general hustle and bustle of life, it can be difficult for families to carve out quality time with each other," said Operator Juli Salvagio of the Chick-fil-A at Holcombe & Buffalo Speedway. "We want these events to create an easy way for families to connect, while offering a theme the whole family can enjoy."

Each participating family will receive a prince and princess-themed activity sheet with questions and topics designed to start conversations. In addition, families will have the chance to capture memories from the evening in a photo booth manned by a "knight" in shining armor. The Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin®" Princess Cow will also be on hand for photos with the families. Activities are free, minus the cost of food.

The Chick-fil-A at Holcombe & Buffalo Speedway will offer guests horse-drawn carriage rides, creating a true royal experience. Guests attending the family date night at the Chick-fil-A at Richmond Avenue can expect a store-front castle, face painting and, for the full effect, the Knights of the Guild will perform knighting ceremonies - a royal rite of passage.

"Our family always has an incredible experience at Chick-fil-A family night events," said Shannon Kyrish, a longtime guest at the Chick-fil-A at 290 and Spring Cypress. "We cherish the opportunity to eat a delicious dinner together while entertaining our children with fun, well-planned activities."

Reservations are required, and event dates and times will vary by location. Customers can call or visit their local Chick-fil-A restaurant to make a reservation.
