Lady Gaga to hold 'ARTPOP' playback in Berlin club Berghain later this month

Pop star will preview new album at invite only event held at the infamous club

Lady Gaga will reveal her new album 'ARTPOP' at Berlin club Berghain later this month (October). The pop star will hold an invite-only playback for the album at the club, famous for its hedonistic parties and strict door policy. The playback will be held in the Halle am Berghain, a room in the former power plant that the venue's owners occasionally open up for concerts, exhibitions, and other events. As the playback takes place on Thursday, October 24 it will not clash with regular club programming in Berghain, which only happens only on weekends. Little Monsters wanting to attend the event must submit "a question that you always wanted to ask Lady Gaga" to hosts AMPYA who will hand out 50 pairs of VIP tickets to those they deem the most entertaining. A further 10 grand prize winners will receive a pair of VIP tickets, gaining them access to the playback and a private meet and greet with Gaga herself. Lady Gaga unveiled seven new songs from 'ARTPOP' at her London comeback gig on September 1. The singer opened this year's iTunes Festival with a typically theatrical performance which featured some kind of costume or wig change for every song and several lengthy explanations about the inspiration for her new material.
