RelatedBritish singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran could be among a host of celebrities to have touched down in New Zealand recently.
Sheeran today tweeted: "In kiwi land making music for kiwi things."
The tweet fuelled speculation the A Team singer could be producing music for The Hobbit, although a spokesperson for WingNut Films said he was not aware of any meeting.
Sheeran was last in New Zealand for a concert in March this year, when he stopped by Peter Jackson's production company in Wellington.
The singer told US morning show Live! with Kelly and Michael meeting Sir Peter was "probably the coolest day of my career".
