Demi Lovato has revealed that she finds Ed Sheeran "inspiring".
The 'Skyscraper' singer admitted that Sheeran has influenced her as she prepares for her 2014 'Neon Lights' tour in the US and Canada.
Speaking about the music on her iPod, Lovato told : "I'm always a fan of Paramore, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Ed Sheeran and Bon Iver."
The X Factor USA judge will be joined by Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and Cher Lloyd on her upcoming tour, which kicks off in Vancouver on February 9.
The star said of compiling a setlist: "The message I want people to hear [is] that there's more than catchy songs released as singles. The album [tracks] should get more attention. That's why Ed Sheeran is so inspiring - it's not just about pop songs."
Sheeran recently supported Taylor Swift on the US leg of her 'Red' tour and is preparing to release his second studio album early next year.
