Bridesmaids Director Paul Feig May Helm Fourth Female

With two hugely successful female-led comedies ( Bridesmaids and The Heat) under his belt and a third ( Susan Cooper) on the way, Paul Feig is quickly becoming one of Hollywood's most in-demand comedy directors. Now, Deadline is reporting that Feig will produce and possibly direct another female-fronted comedy.

Plot details are being kept under lock and key for now, but the film will feature a screenplay from Melissa Stack, who first pitched the idea to 20th Century Fox. Stack previously penned the script for the upcoming Nick Cassavetes-directed comedy The Other Woman. That film, which stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Taylor Kinney, Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj, will focus on a woman who discovers her boyfriend is actually married and plots revenge against him with the help of his wife.

Feig will produce alongside Jessie Henderson under his Feigco banner, which is devoted to making R-rated comedies. The film will serve as "a vehicle for a group of ethnically diverse comic actresses," and that's about all we know at the moment. Feig also stated the following:

I'm always looking for an excuse to gather a bunch of funny women together, and Melissa's amazing take on this idea really made me laugh. I'm thrilled to be working with her and excited to really nail our Paso Doble on Dancing With The Stars.

The director will be preoccupied with Susan Cooper, a spy comedy with Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham and Rose Byrne, for the time being (the film's out May 22nd, 2015), so I'd wouldn't expect this untitled project to arrive until 2016 or 2017.

Personally, I'm glad that Feig is expanding his comedy wheelhouse to include actresses of various ethnicities ( Bridesmaids, The Heat and Susan Cooper have all starred mostly white actors and actresses). Hopefully he'll be able to pull in the talents of a wide range of hugely talented actresses. My dream cast: Mindy Kaling, Aisha Tyler, Debra Wilson, Mo'Nique and Kim Wayans. Regardless of who ends up joining the project, any announcements of future R-rated comedies from Feig are definitely good news.

ARCHER's Aisha Tyler Appears at Empire Comedy Live Tonight

Empire Comedy Live presents a live stand-up performance by Aisha Tyler tonight, October 18 at The Royal Theatre. Aisha Tyler is an actor, comedian, director, author and activist. She is the new host of the returning Whose Line is it Anyway? on The CW, the voice of superspy Lana Kane on Archer on FX & Teletoon, and co-host of The Talk on CBS.

Her new book Self Inflicted Wounds is due for release by Harper Collins on July 9th, in which she recounts a series of epic mistakes and hilarious stories of crushing personal humiliation, and the personal insights and authentic wisdom she gathered along the way.

Previously announced, Empire Comedy Live will also present comedian and author Jen Kirkman on June 7-8, and LA comedy powerhouse Greg Behrendt on June 15, at Comedy Bar.

The 5th Annual Toronto Comedy Brawl continues at their new venue, Johnny Jackson, with 300 amateur stand-up comedians competing for the top prize of $1,000. Each night, eight comics will perform and the top four selected by written audience ballot will move on to the next round.

It dawned on me rather quickly while I was choking on a breadstick in a fit of laughter at last week's Variety's Power of Women event: Aisha Tyler (who hosted the event) should host next year's Golden Globes.

Neil Patrick Harris seems to be destined for one long hosting vacation, while Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are almost afraid to hurt all of America's feelings by saying, "Thanks, but no thanks" to another Globes hosting gig. So maybe it's about time we handed the baton to someone who is funny and witty and also truly wants to do it. Ladies and gents: Aisha.

In fact, since I brought it up to Aisha while at the valet stand of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (Her response? "I'd love to!"), having her host SNL has picked up steam on Twitter. cohost has already hosted this summer's Young Hollywood Awards, and she's shown the ultimate in quick thinking while presenting at this year's Daytime Emmys (see below), so why not let her show the rest of America what I-and many others-already know: This funny lady is a diamond in the rough.

"Hosting is fun but it's also a lot of work," she told me at last night's CBS Daytime After Dark in support of Stand Up to Cancer. "Every comedian's dream is to host SNL. I'm just happy to be working and be funny, but of course it would be so cool! If I ever had that opportunity, I would work really hard to make it [great]!"

I also caught up with 's Jerry O'Connell at the event, and he told me that there's a good chance his wife, Rebecca Romijn, might make an upcoming guest appearance on the CBS sitcom.

"There's been talk that my character, who has trouble committing after two divorces, meets the perfect woman, and that woman is played by my wife. But he still refuses to commit because my character keeps pushing her away. I want her to do it so we can commute to work! Do you understand how much time I'll save if we carpool? A good half hour!" Ubisoft Talks the Infamous Aisha Tyler Watch Dogs Video, Current

A few months back, Ubisoft released a video for that looked nowhere near as good as previous trailers, causing Creative Director Jonathan Morin to come out and say, "I see the game every day and I can tell you, this trailer is far from it."

In the end he chalked it up to a mistake, and in a recent interview with CVG, the video was brought up again and he was asked if they might be overselling the visuals of the current generations versions:

I don't think so, no. You know, that video that came out was funny. I said on Twitter - which some people didn't like, but still - that it's not a version. I was looking at the reaction and people didn't understand what I meant. They don't make games and I guess that's why. I'll explain in a more simple way.We're all working on PCs. Because of that, and because we're making games on next-gen and current gen it's a very scalable engine. You can check a bunch of different things. You can make it the ugliest game on the planet by unchecking options.It's there so you can have better frame rate early on in the process so you can test driving, for example, but there's tons of features like that.Sometimes the trailers are done outside of our building - we're not physically there - and then some people have initiative and they start recording something and they might not have the best eye on the planet. So they aren't realising that they're actually taking shots of the game with a combination of things that makes no fucking sense at all.So that's why I was thinking "this is actually nothing, what you guys are looking at makes no sense" and I wasn't that happy. But it was an internal communications flaw and at the end of the day it's no big deal. But no, there's no risk on the look of the current-gen version, it's looking pretty awesome.

On the subject of the Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed universes being tied together, Morin teased that "we might have little surprises here and there, just as quick nods, but it's two different worlds and different universes."

BOOKS Tonight at Book Soup at 7 p.m., The Talk's Aisha Tyler discusses and signs her book Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales of Epic Humiliation. In her book, the former Talk Soup host recounts a series of epic mistakes and hilarious stories of crushing personal humiliation.
