Janet Napolitano To Address UC Regents In San Francisco For 1st Time


SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) - Former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was expected to address the University of California's Board of Regents for the first time as the system's new president.


Napolitano was scheduled to give a speech during the meeting Wednesday at the University of California San Francisco.


The first female president of the University of California has said in the past that she would present at the meeting to the regents "big ideas" to ponder.


Napolitano has said the system needs to do more to raise funds.
